The ONTC Work Equipment Shop is a new 11,000-square-foot facility at the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission yard in Englehart, Ontario. Built as an addition to an existing maintenance garage, the facility supports the maintenance and repair of railway work equipment and locomotives.

The building features a three-bay drive-through layout, with rail tracks running through each bay. Below each track is an in-ground repair pit, allowing crews to work on railway equipment from below. The building is equipped with two overhead cranes, including a 10-ton crane and a 30-ton crane with a 5-ton auxiliary hook, as well as a locomotive jacking system.

Alongside the maintenance bays, the facility includes an operations and administration area with offices, a training room, a lunchroom, a signal shop, signal storage, and a lube oil room. The project also included interior and exterior renovations to the existing maintenance garage.
