Gendron Northshore Living

Gendron Northshore Living was developed to provide high-quality, affordable, and market-rent housing options in the growing community of Marathon. This three-story, 51,000-square-foot multi-family apartment complex features 50 units, including 38 two-bedroom suites and 12 one-bedroom suites. Each suite is equipped with a kitchen, washer and dryer, and individual heating and air conditioning controls.

Nestled in an emerging subdivision, Gendron Northshore Living is the largest of its kind in the area. The complex focuses on creating an inclusive environment, featuring accessible ground-level suites and barrier-free common areas. Additionally, the building prioritizes sustainability, achieving a 33% reduction in operating energy consumption and a 45% decrease in Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions compared to national standards.

Currently under construction, Gendron Northshore Living is slated to welcome residents in early 2024.

The project was developed through a collaborative effort involving the Marathon Municipal Non-Profit Housing Corporation, the Town of Marathon, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and the CGV Group.
