The Barrick Care Long-Term Care Facility is a 14,820-square-foot addition to the Wilson Memorial General Hospital in Marathon, Ontario. The single-storey addition connects to the two-storey portion of the existing hospital, with a passenger elevator providing access between levels. The facility provides 14 long-term care beds and the support spaces required for daily operations and resident care.
In addition to resident rooms, the building includes dining and lounge areas, activity and therapy rooms, nursing and clinical support areas, offices, and shared amenities. The facility also includes an outdoor resident courtyard adjacent to the building.
