The Bucket Shop

The Bucket Shop is a Timmins-based bucket repair and manufacturing company that produces specialty buckets for excavators and scoop trams for the mining industry. The facility comprises a 12,000-square-foot office building and an attached 65,000-square-foot production facility. The office features high vaulted ceilings, a board room, and multiple offices, while the production facility houses nine overhead cranes (15 to 70 tons), a heavy bay for large rock trucks, welding stations, and fifteen pieces of metal fabrication equipment; including a 62,000-kilogram hydraulic press brake with an output capacity of 780 tons.

Three years after the completion of the Bucket Shop facility, our group was enlisted once again to deliver two 10,800-square-foot auxiliary buildings on the site. These buildings included an abrasive blasting and paint shop, and a multipurpose building. The abrasive blasting and paint shop is equipped with two large paint booths, one abrasive blasting booth, and one 15-ton capacity overhead crane. The multi-purpose building serves as a maintenance shop, featuring 6 bays, a shipping and receiving warehouse, offices, and a lunchroom.
