Job Description
As a Site Superintendent at CGV Group, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high quality control standards. Your leadership skills and industry knowledge will be essential in driving the project to completion while meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and CGV Group personnel.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Resolve conflicts, solve problems, and make informed decisions in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience as a Site Superintendent in the construction industry (ICI and multi-residential sectors).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites in northern Ontario.
