THE CGV GROUP
The CGV Group is a third-generation family-owned business that has been building remarkable construction projects throughout northern Ontario for nearly five decades. Our family of companies is comprised of two entities – CGV Builders and CGV Developments. Together, we engage in the development, design, and construction of buildings in the commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-residential sectors. With the combined expertise of our teams, we can function as a one-stop project partner, providing end-to-end services from concept through to completion – all under one roof.
At CGV Group, we’re rooted in the belief that a diverse and well-rounded team provides the complementary expertise that makes a project greater than the sum of its parts. We’re also firm believers that it’s our people that make CGV one of the most trusted and reputable names in the northern Ontario construction industry.
BUILDING ON A HISTORY OF TRUST
CGV’s origins can be traced back to 1975 when three carpenters with family names Chevalier, Genereux, and Vezeau joined forces to found CGV Builders Inc. – a general contracting company that specialized in the construction of single-family homes. Before long, the new business expanded its services beyond home construction projects, and established itself as a trusted general contractor known for integrity, dedication, and quality workmanship.
During the latter half of the 1990s, siblings Daniel and Michel Vezeau became the exclusive owners and operators of CGV Builders Inc. Under their leadership, the company entered new markets, strengthened its team, and continued to develop lasting relationships with clients and collaborators.
Much has changed since then. Today, our headquarters in Cochrane, ON is home to CGV Builders and CGV Developments, and we’re now known collectively as the CGV Group. A proud third-generation family-owned business, we have established ourselves as one of the leading developers and contractors in northern Ontario. Despite all the changes, one thing remains constant: fundamental values that have stood the test of time – like everything we build.
