Aspen Court Senior Living

Aspen Court Senior Living is a 38-unit senior housing facility that provides an independent and supportive living environment for seniors in the town of Atikokan. Spanning 37,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art complex offers a range of amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining hall, a welcoming lounge, an outdoor covered terrace, among others. The facility was designed to meet high environmental efficiency standards, achieving a 43% decrease in operating energy consumption and a 48% reduction in Greenhouse Gas (GHS) emissions compared to the National Energy Code of Canada for Building’s (NEBC) base building. With its barrier-free common areas and accessible units, Aspen Court prioritizes inclusivity and provides a comfortable living environment for all residents.

The project was developed through a collaborative effort involving Community Living Atikokan, the Town of Atikokan, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and the CGV Group.
